My favourite book, hmmm, once again I have many books I love. All in different ways, depending on my mood at the time. As a child I read every single Jacqueline Wilson book - from Dustbin Baby, Tracy Beaker to Lola Rose (my puppy's name hehe). As I got older I've turned more and more into a reader, although being a stressed out and unable to manage my time well, I've put my hobby of reading on hold. But as soon as these wretched exams are over I will get into it again. Especially over the summer.

So, my favourite books - I love the Great Gatsby, such a classy book. What I would have given to of lived in the 1920s as a wealthy, upper class person, in America (even though studying it in a-level English has killed it a LITTLE for me, but only a little) I also love - The Yellow Wallpaper and the mind-games, of course Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland, classics. I'm also a sucker for auto-biographies, I read Piers Morgan's auto-biography and LOVED it, oh and Katie Price's (I KNOW shhhh, both actually very good! To my surprise!)... But the book I love, and am reading for the second time now is When I Was Five I Killed Myself - a harrowing book, but I love and is small so fits perfectly into my handbag. I recommend it, it'll change your way of thinking. Alas I shan't give away the storyline. Hate people who do that!

A photo(s) that makes me happy...

Back in the day when I was about, four or five. With my older sister and twin brother, playing in my garden when we lived in Yorkshire. Everything was so fun and easy! It is also one of the only photos my siblings and I have together.  So always makes a smile appear on my face!

Another photo which makes me happy, summer after GCSEs - first proper holiday with all my close friends without parents. This photo always reminds me of our holiday together, all 11 of us. And even though we now don't all go to school together, I think we all remember our banging holiday! Eeek. So, that also always makes a smile appear on my face when I think about all the chaos we caused. (Our poor neighbours!!)

I know it's late but I can't help but think here, that the day hasn't shown all its cards.

Day 30 — Hopes, dreams and plans for the next year

I've decided to do two days today, as I doubt I'll have time to blog this weekend. Due to "revision" and I'm catching up with a few friends for our "weekly" dinner party (I say weekly, we haven't have a dinner party for a few weeks now!) - I can't wait, looking forward to it very much! Eeee.

So, my favourite television program - tough one, yes I know I say that to each question. But it's gotta be either;

1. Sherlock, I was hooked when it came out at the end of last year. (and I have a crush on the lead guy Benedict Cumberbatch, fantastic name isn't it!)
2. The O.C - yes I was one of those die hard O.C fans. Have every season on my laptop and yes watch it now still. I miss it so much :( especially Seth.

But as you all probably know by now, my favourite program of all time is, yes The Secret Diary Of A Call Girl. Staring Billie Piper <3 I know so many of the quotes from all 4 seasons and all her clients weird sex habits haha, obsessive or what? Another series I'm heartbroken to see end.

Now, on to a song that makes me cry. As music is my best friend really, if I'm honest. Quite a few songs make me cry/teary eyed. Songs such as Flume - Bon Iver, To Build A House - The Cinematic Orchestra, The Devil's Tears - Angus & Julia Stone, Sign No More - Mumford & Son, Warning Sign - Coldplay, Beautiful - Eminem. But the song that really, makes me cry is... Dark Roman Wine - Snow Patrol.
I find the lyrics so, touching, so breathtaking. I am the biggest Snow Patrol fan, have every single album ever made by them, and have seen them a few times live. And that is where if I'm honest noticed this song (live at the Royal Albert Hall), seeing them sing it live make me feel so emotional. I've also listened to it through such bad times, which is usually why a song makes you feel so sad. If you can relate to the lyrics personally it makes the emotion so much greater. But, I hope I don't put you off of it due to my sadness. It is still one of my favourite songs of all-time. Just brings a few tears to my eyes.

Anyway, hope I haven't depressed you all too much. Great start to the weekend :)

Hope you have a good one.
