A song that makes me want to dance - I am a massive Pendulum fan! So their album Immersion. Has so many songs that make me want to dance, such as Islands (Lenzman Remix), Watercolour and Witchcraft are some just to name a few. But the artist that makes me want to dance the most is Inna all of her songs remind me of being on holiday in Marbella or Val Do Lobo out with friends in a shitty club till an ungodly hour in the morning. So, Amazing or Deja Vu had to be my two favourites and here are the videos...

My favourite quote, hmmmm. I can't decide, so I'm gonna do a top 10...

1. "What am I gonna do when the best part of me was always you?" - it's from The Script's song Breakeven

2. "You never know when you are winning or when you are losing." - Unknown

3. "If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing well. If it is worth having, it is worth waiting for. If it is worth attaining, it is worth fighting for. If it is worth experiencing, it is worth putting aside time for." - Unknown

4. "A man can be happy with any woman, as long as he does not love her." - Oscar Wilde

5. "Experience is one thing you can't get for nothing." - Oscar Wilde

6. "We always ignore the ones who adore us, and adore the ones who ignore us." - Drake

7. "Being real is like a lady, if you have to tell everyone you are... You aren't" - Drake

8. "And I finally get a moment to myself. I will realise you were everything I'm missing, and you'll tell me you're in love with someone else." - Drake

9. "My love for you is real, if you don't love me, someone else will." - Lil Wayne

10. "Even if you think the flame has died, there is at least one lyric that'll hit that last hot spot. Then you'll find yourself as fucked as you were the day you lied and said you never wanted to see her again." - John Mayer

Non-fiction book, probably - Piers Morgan's autobiography or Katie Price's autobiography. Yes I KNOW! They should be rubbish, but if you read them they're very good. I really want to read Russel Brand's Booky Wook too. As I've heard that's fantastic!

Anyway, I am very excited for tomorrow. The fourth of June at Eton, always makes summer seem SO close!! Hopefully the weather will hold up as it's all set outside. But you never know. Off to fake tan the legs, then off to work to get my uniform for this season.

Have a good one.

The weekend was JAM PACKED filled with exciting things. Mainly my "wifey", S was having a massive couples dinner party! It was excellent as all events hosted by her. The only down side was that I didn't have another half to go with, alas this is where best friends come in. My gorgeous G accompanied me and we went as the two blondes together. Hehe. Was lovely to see some of the boys who I haven't been able to see for various reasons, gap years being the main one.

Then had work, on both days. So shattered now. But went out for a yummy dinner on Sunday evening. With a very close friend and her family, as it was her older sister's birthday. Was so lovely. It's so nice to meet your close friends families' - makes you feel closer with your friends as meeting their family is a personal thing, like going to their houses. Friendship goes to the "next level".

Half way through my questions basically. So today, a recipe... Now, I'm an appalling chef, I cannot cook to save my life. Only thing that I can do are cookies/cakes now and then, and a poached egg. But that's pushing it if I'm honest. So I don't really have an awesome recipe, but Nigella is usually a good bet that your food will turn out scrummy!

My favourite possession - apart from my iPhone and Mac both of which I am surgically attached to. I love my "B" necklace, I wear it all the time rarely take it off unless I'm fake tanning myself. I got it from my mummy and her boyfriend when I was 14, I play with it all the time. I think it's a sense of comfort in all situations. The other possession which I haven't taken off for about 3 years is my links friendship bracelet. I got given it by my friend J (her birthday in the post below) - we have been friends since we were tiny and she got me the bracelet for my birthday one year. It's the original one, now they do them in all different colours but mine is the original pink and navy blue one. I love it.
I have many possessions I love but all in different ways, I'm actually very sentimental

A website, hmmm. ASOS is always up there, and probably PostSecret. I go on it every Sunday and view their new posts. This is one of their newest posts. I love them, and one day I will send my secret in.

I have that sinking feeling in my stomach. You know when you know that in a week or so that you're going to have to go and do something you don't want to do. And it just keeps playing on your mind over and over. You think of two scenarios in your head. One good. One bad. The worst part is that you're not going to be able to control the situation. So, do I - not go? Not put myself in the situation in the first place? Or try and man up? Try to deal with it?... I know most of the time you should "take the bull my the horns" and deal with things outright. But this, this is different and could potentially end in such a mess.

Hope you had a good weekend, and enjoy your bank holiday.

Have a good one.

So, here I am at last. Just about survived my exams, most of them went appallingly if I'm honest. But I hope (think) I ended on a high with Philosophy & Ethics, I did work hard for it but that (as a very close friend of mine and I have found out) doesn't always mean good results. Suppose we have to accept some people are better then others at certain things. But that, however does not make the blow any softer! When you've worked your a*se off and you get "meh" results... WHY IS LIFE NOT FAIR? Arghjkmkaklois. Oh well, always re-takes in January.

Anywho, back to my questions. Which I have sorely missed! An art piece, I really like the painting which is at The National Gallery in London. Which I go to quite regularly with my dear friend G, as we LOVE going to look at galleries haha. I'm not religious in any sense of the word, but my favourite painting in there is of Jesus. I sadly can't show you it as I don't know the name. But this is my second favourite. There is a poem which goes with it too, the painting is by John William Waterhouse and is called Mermaid. It reminds me of my favourite film/book/story Peter Pan, with the evil mermaids who would try and drown you if you got too close. I think it's a beautiful painting.

My family, well - we're all far to chaotic, complicated and unphotogenic to have a photo of us all together. Alas, I love my family. Even though sometimes it would be nice to be a bit more "normal"...

A photo taken of me recently, hmmm, I hate photos of myself. Literally SO unphotogenic it's painful. Or at least I hope I'm unphotogenic and don't actually look like that haha. So this is probably my most recent, the black dress, blonde hair and wine glass - pretty much sum me up! Such a brilliant evening for my friend J's birthday. Been friends since we were 6!

My favourite actress, now tough one. I love Scarlett Johansson, but I wouldn't say she's my favourite actress at all. I'm a massive fan of Helen Bonham Carter - Sweeney Todd, Willy Wonka and Alice in Wonderland are just amazing with her in. I also love Angelina Jolie, Changelling yes I know I go on about this film. But it's incredible she should have won like a million Oscar's for it! But my favourite actress has to be Julia Roberts - I've loved basically every film she has been in, Nottinghill, PRETTY WOMAN!!, Runaway Bride, Duplicity and Hook. I feel like I'm friends with her haha through all the characters she has played particularly Anna Scott. As she was a celebrity and what not.

I have missed blogging SO MUCH. And will now make a special effort to blog loads more. Especially now I'm on half term and free from exams. Oh and to all you music lovers looking for a summery album to buy, Friendly Fires - Pala is banging. Will definitely be my summer 2011 album. Along with Rizzle Kicks <3 <3 <3

I shall keep you updated on the weekend's antics! Woo.

Have a good one.

Part of me feelings like I'm cheating this system of days, but alas, if it wasn't for these exams I would be blogging every single day!

A hobby of mine, I absolutely LOVE reading. Like I said in my previous post I unfortunately haven't been able to read a lot, due to other commitments and what not. But as soon as these exams are over I'm gonna get back into it. I am also a sucker for a good ol' horse ride. But yeah, I realised I don't actually do a lot haha. Social events always seem to be the top of my agenda!

My favourite song, once again, I had to battle against various songs to come to my conclusion. Such as Wonderwall - Oasis (and Ryan Adams), Corinne Bailey Rae - Just Like A Star, various Ed Sheeran songs (AMAZING MUSIC if you haven't heard of him YouTube him), Biggest Mistake - Ellie Goulding, Until The End Of Time LIVE - Justin Timberlake... The list goes on. So I've narrowed it down to my favourite two. Which I'm quite impressed with.

1. Covered In Rain - John Mayer
The song is said to be about New York after 9/11 - an event that I do hold really close to my heart. But regardless of that, I enjoy all of John Mayer's music, he is a beautiful singer and guitarist as you can tell from the video. I can listen to this song over and over, and never get sick of it. Mission before I die is to see him live!!

2. Nicest Thing - Kate Nash

Now, I know this song should probably go in the song that makes me cry list. But it is such a well written and touching song, a song I think nearly all girls can relate to. It's gratifying to know that it isn't just you who feels like this. Kate Nash writes such good songs with poignant lyrics, after watching her last year I definitely have fallen under her spell. Not to mention LOVING her fashion sense.

Revision is doing my head in and the fact I have the attention span of a squirrel really isn't in my favour. So hopefully I'm be able to get some focus or have a really easy paper. Or both? Maybe the easy paper is wishful thinking? Meh. So much to do, living for the 27th May! So soon. Hopefully I will be able to soldier on until then, failing in so much at the moment it's depressing. FML. Stupid exams, why can't they be oral exams? Blah to this. Good luck to everyone, doubt most of you will need it mind you...

Hope you have a good one.

PS. The title Nicest Thing - Kate Nash won't go in line, for all those who have OCD about that SORRY. It's irritating me too, I tried everything! AAAAAH.

My favourite book, hmmm, once again I have many books I love. All in different ways, depending on my mood at the time. As a child I read every single Jacqueline Wilson book - from Dustbin Baby, Tracy Beaker to Lola Rose (my puppy's name hehe). As I got older I've turned more and more into a reader, although being a stressed out and unable to manage my time well, I've put my hobby of reading on hold. But as soon as these wretched exams are over I will get into it again. Especially over the summer.

So, my favourite books - I love the Great Gatsby, such a classy book. What I would have given to of lived in the 1920s as a wealthy, upper class person, in America (even though studying it in a-level English has killed it a LITTLE for me, but only a little) I also love - The Yellow Wallpaper and the mind-games, of course Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland, classics. I'm also a sucker for auto-biographies, I read Piers Morgan's auto-biography and LOVED it, oh and Katie Price's (I KNOW shhhh, both actually very good! To my surprise!)... But the book I love, and am reading for the second time now is When I Was Five I Killed Myself - a harrowing book, but I love and is small so fits perfectly into my handbag. I recommend it, it'll change your way of thinking. Alas I shan't give away the storyline. Hate people who do that!

A photo(s) that makes me happy...

Back in the day when I was about, four or five. With my older sister and twin brother, playing in my garden when we lived in Yorkshire. Everything was so fun and easy! It is also one of the only photos my siblings and I have together.  So always makes a smile appear on my face!

Another photo which makes me happy, summer after GCSEs - first proper holiday with all my close friends without parents. This photo always reminds me of our holiday together, all 11 of us. And even though we now don't all go to school together, I think we all remember our banging holiday! Eeek. So, that also always makes a smile appear on my face when I think about all the chaos we caused. (Our poor neighbours!!)
