Hmmm, if you haven't already gathered I am the most indecisive person. Especially when it comes to music, films and books.

So, this has been a very, very, VERY difficult decision for happiest song. I narrowed it down to Don't Worry Be Happy - Bob Marley, Undercover Martyn - Two Door Cinema Club (most of their album if I'm completely honest <3 them), Sleepyhead - Passion Pit and You Can Dance - Chilly Gozales... But then I realized, yes I absolutely LOVE all of those songs and yes, they do put me in such a good mood.

But it isn't quite as good as the mood this one puts me in... Just One Second - London Elektricity.

I picked the video with the best photos too! Hehe.

Back at school now, been tiring and I've been back only half a day really... I'm very much looking forward to the royal wedding and to be seeing Kate's dress! Eeek. Oh and to spend it with a dear friend of mine's as she's have partyyyyy. Hopefully the weather will be in our favor. Never know in England, do you?!

Hope you have a good one.

The way you're singing in your sleep, the way you look before you leap, the strange illusions that you keep, you don't know, but I'm noticing.

Right, I thought I'd try and do something exciting with my blog. The most excitement in my life at the very moment, sad but true! NO thanks to school or revision.

My favourite film - such a hard one. I love a variety of films, He's Just Not That Into You, 500 Days Of Summer, Peter Pan, 101 Dalmatians, Blood Diamond, The Secret Garden, Juno, The Notebook, Changelling... yes the list is endless. However, my favourite film is one I only discovered last year. Thanks to my sister's boyfriend.

I love MICHAEL CERA. So much. Would marry him in a heartbeat. I love the whole cliche love story of this film, I also think she's so beautiful Kat Dennings. Ah love a good complicated love story, such a sucker for that kinda genre of film. As you all know from my previous posts. So, my advice if you haven't seen this wonderful film and fancy a giggle, an AMAZING soundtrack, Micheal, seeing the good-guys actually win this time. Then this film is definitely for you. Hope you enjoy.

Oh! And the book is so good too.

PS. Apologizes for the long title, it's my favourite quote from the film.

Wednesday 20 April 2011

We were young, we were wrong...

Now, I've always absolutely LOVED Robbie Williams. Loved everything about him, his school-boy like face, funny comments he makes, his well written songs etc.
I just love him. After a day of successfully avoiding revision at all cost and resorting to YouTube for help. Watched so many videos such as Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Ed Sheeran A-Team music video and you gussed it, various Robbie Williams videos.

My favourite being this one... I love the couple in it, how they seem still "in love" - I hate how now a days we all seem to fall in and out of love, over a short period of time. But do we actually? The feelings you once had for someone, so strong and passionate surely can't just disappear, can they? Yes I know that you eventually move on and have that love for another person, but does the love you once had for someone, does it just go? Or stay, and you just put it on hold? From my little experience of love, I'd say it seems to disappear but doesn't. Little things trigger off the love you once had for them? Hmmm, it's a tough one. Maybe down to your personality or how in love you were?

I'm excited. Very excited. On Saturday seeing a bunch of friends who I haven't seen all together for such a long time! It's so nice to be reunited with the people I used to see everyday and share all my thoughts, feelings and memories with. I miss them all so much. But it makes catching up with each other even more exciting and gives us even MORE to talk about, if that's even possible!

LOVING this weather, not helping me with the revision as all I want to do is be outside. Which I tried to do today, revise and be in the sun. What a disaster! Hence my resorting to YouTube.

Have a good one.

Monday 18 April 2011

I just wanna be successful.

I watched my favourite film today, yes that's right Peter Pan. I've been obsessed with it ever since I can remember, the story of a young boy destined never to grow up and of course my favourite genre of film LOVE. A complicated love story. Which everyone is a sucker for.

My favourite quote comes from Peter Pan, "Never say goodbye, goodbye means going away, and going away means forgetting." - and in the last week this quote has really come to my attention more then usual. For a variety of reasons.
Forgetting is one of my biggest fears, to forget what someone looks like, what they act like, what they like and dislike etc. Or to be the person being forgotten. It is different if you are forgetting that person forgetting you, but is severely heartbreaking if you are the person being forgotten and not forgetting them.

So, therefore I hope to never forget... But I understand life gets in the way and we are all so busy and wrapped up in our own lives, however sometimes we don't take enough time out for others. We forget how easy it is to pick up the phone for a quick chat, and how you feel after having a chat with that friend is! Love chats with my best friends! Hehe. Makes you realize how important people in your life are, especially friends. Had a banging chat with one this afternoon.

SO SUNNY. Eeeek, not helping me with my revision though. Becoming quite an issue actually. I can't wait for summer. My exams are over in this time in 7weeks!!!! God, that's so soon... Better go do some revision now then. With my yummy bowl of ice cream - nomnom. --->

Have a good one.

R.I.P <3

Friday 15 April 2011

There's a light that never goes out...

Have you ever felt so confused that you don't actually know what to do with yourself? Well, this is exactly how I'm feeling at the moment, and I HATE it! Such a nightmare my emotions are all over the place. I hate myself for it as, I was, so happy, well i am still happy but not as happy as i was. It's like, when you're away from the person who makes you happy - you become unhappy and start to pick holes in everything and ultimately make EVERYTHING worse and make the situation seem worse then it actually is. ARGHJOKQWDDKIO. Why can we never seem to be content? There always has to be some sort of problem, or we have to create some sort of drama. Just, well just because... Alas I shall be fine, I shall sort myself out and I shall be as happy as I was. It's all good.

I'm not even going to comment on revision, and the lack of it. I get that guilty feeling when talking about it, so I shall refrain. Thinking about it the whole country should just not revise then the grade boundaries would be low and BAM we'd all do really well, right?

In result of this lack of revision, I decided to paint my nails! One of my favourite past times, it  was a difficult choice of colours. As the weather has been glorious I wanted to go summery but then again it hasn't been too great in the last day or so. Therefore, I opted for a mixture - yes for all of you that know me I never paint my nails one colour. So, I haven't failed to disappoint this time either. My left hand being "cherry tree blossom" AKA redy, pinky with "Marylebone" a light yellow, I've done my nails stripy for a change too. My right hand being "cherry tree blossom" and "32" a pale blue with a little glitter in too. Also stripy. I just love painting my nails, makes me feel so girlie and makes my hands look more attractive rather then looking like they belong to a 5year old.

It's been a girlie day all round I feel, got my hair done, took foreverrrrrrrrrrr i usually like having my hair done but today it was SO tedious, 2hours it took! Painted my finger nails and my toe nails (bright, neon, orange again) - so yes, a pampering day indeedy.

Wow, this week has gone fast. Too fast. Before we know it we'll all be back at school, sad times. Better make the most of the break, well lack of a break as it should be dominated by work. Highlighting the word SHOULD there. Haha.

Anyway, have a good weekend and I'll try and blog more, swear I say that all the time. Haha. I'll make a special effort though! Honest.

Have a good one.

Saturday 9 April 2011

Oh, it's you again listen this isn't a reunion...

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPYYYYYY.

Feeling so content. I think the astronomical amount of scones, finger sandwiches, champagne, little cakes and earl grey tea i consumed over the course of the afternoon - helped toward this feeling of happiness. We went to a beautiful country house today in Surrey, for a late mothers' day present. (mummar LOVES her afternoon tea and i can safely say I'm following in her footsteps!!) The weather was also definitely in our favour, it was so nice, sitting outside, drinking, eating, chatting about something and nothing. I think we all forget how important it is to actually communicate with the people we love, it's hard to fit it in sometimes - in our busy lives. But after my wonderful afternoon i remembered how much fun i actually have with my siblings and mummy <3

I'm so glad it's the end of term. Well, a bittersweet feeling. As i now have to work and revise as much as my little brain can cope with and more, which i am by no means looking forward to! But so relieved i can now have a lie in, see friends that i have been neglecting and try to balance everything again.

Soooo, sunny. This has also added to my happy mood! As i've stated in earlier posts from like March, I'm so ready for summer, bar the summer outfits (need to start thinking colours rather then, black, navy, brown, black, black and white)... I cannot wait, I'm sure it's gonna be a good one.

I've also realized in the last month or so, that it's so true - we always want what we can't have. I mean, i always knew this but in the last 4weeks it's become so apparent and to be honest I'm so delighted that this happens, shows you just how lucky you are. Even though you rarely realize you're this lucky until it's gone. This probably makes no sense, but to me it does, haha... Basically, I'm glad this feeling of wanting something your not allow to have exists!

Well, I'm a little tired and am excited for my trip up to London tomorrow, hopefully in the sun (wishful thinking? Maybe? Finger crossed!) with some fabulous people i have been neglecting recently.

Off to watch Toy Story 3 ! Gotta love Toy Story possibly the best films ever made.

Hope you've had a well deserved break from the hell-hole of school/work so far! And have a good week(s). I'll try to blog so more as i have so more free time, as yes i've ignored my blog for far too long and I've missed it!

Have a good one.
